This move indicates a possible rebranding effort, likely influenced by notable failures within the sector and the increasing regulatory ambiguity in the United States.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>According to sources familiar with the matter, Paradigm, a well-established crypto venture capital firm, is expanding its focus beyond blockchain and showing a keen interest in a wider range of &#8220;frontier tech,&#8221; including artificial intelligence. The firm&#8217;s website reflects this subtle shift, now identifying itself as a &#8220;research-driven technology investment firm&#8221; instead of one exclusively investing in &#8220;disruptive crypto\/Web3 companies and protocols.&#8221; The revision seems to have been made around May 3, based on the Internet Archive&#8217;s Wayback Machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notably, the home page no longer features a line stating &#8220;we believe crypto will define the next few decades,&#8221; and there is no explicit mention of web3 or blockchains.
